Angiography

Angiography is a special image of the back of the eye that visualizes the blood vessels. A dye is introduced into the blood vessels, which becomes visible on the image. This allows us to accurately assess the condition of your blood vessels.

Don't worry! The examination is usually painless. You may feel a slight warm sensation when the dye is inserted, but this is temporary.

Angiography allows us to detect narrowing, blockages or other abnormalities in your blood vessels. Based on this data, we plan the optimal treatment for you.

Every medical examination has its risks. In angiography, these are minimal. It may happen that the dye causes allergic reactions in some, but this is rare. We take all the necessary safety precautions and are ready for anything.

The examination usually takes between 15 minutes and one hour. After that, plan some more rest time.

Yes, it is advisable not to eat or drink before the examination. We will give you the necessary instructions for this beforehand.
